I agree, which is why I am confused.
Could these LED's not cover the spectrum sufficiently well? I would
suspect the blue LED's particularly.
The real surprise is the excellent CompassPro profile for the Tek 450
with its very fluorescent paper. That's what I really want to
understand -- how did they do that?

The colored LED light sources in the ColorMouse do not emit significant UV...
so they are not prone to the issues being blamed on fluorescence in this
thread.
