How do you translate the density values read from a densitometer
i.e.:
C .75
M .79
Y .76
into something you can compare with photoshop readings? ie a % value or
something in the 0-255 range. I can't seem to find a conversion method or
table anywhere.
There isn't one. The normal use for density measurements of ink is to
make sure that the press is laying down the optimal amount of ink,
and they're usually measured at 100% coverage.
