As an aside, the Imation MatchPrint RIP v2 now uses device profiles

and not device link profiles as in v1.
This would imply they are no longer using their own Imation "CFM". In
version 1, it used regular ICC output device profiles also; but the
Imation CMM would create a proprietary device link profile from those
output device profiles, using it's own gamut mapping algorithm (based on
the source space and destination space).
I would be surprised if they are no longer using their own CMM as it was
built with the idea of superior CMYK to CMYK conversions.
BTW, I got a copy of the Imation CMM working and it does not exhibit a
white point mapping problem with any of the profiles I've tried thus far
(i.e. RGB 255,255,255 maps to 0,0,0,0CMYK every time - thus far).
