Steve,
Sorry for not replying to the list last time. I just hit reply. I will
keep this on list from here....
Uhm....it looks like PS 6 does not see my brand new monitor profile as a
monitor profile. I created it with profilemaker, and loaded it with
Colorsync 2.5.1. (We run older Mac OS here for some reason.) It works fine
and shows up as the monitor profile in 5.5. It does not show up as a
"monitor" profile in 6. Rather as just a working space profile. I will do
some reading in the manual.
Our working space is a "custom" rgb work space, but I have loaded the same
settings in 6 as I am using in 5.5, so I doubt that would be it.
As for the files, I have been creating new files in both versions using the
same values , so the associated profiles are the same based on the creation
workspace settings being the same. Or at least that's the way I think it
should work.
Lemme read some more. I think it may have something to do with the monitor
profile....
Thanks for the hint.....I love this stuff....
best regards,
mb

Can you confirm that Photoshop 6 is using the correct monitor
