I went through the very same thread about five months ago looking for
true multi-channel (CMYKOrGr, CcMmYK, and now CcMmYKOrGr) profiling
software. As the aforementioned notables have said: Colorblind and
Monaco are pretty much your only popular choices. I ended up going
with Scanvec-Amiable's PhotoPrintServer, which simulates the extended
ink sets for the Roland line of 6-ink printers in their profiling
package. Version 2.0 is a no as it doesn't have good linearization
features and the color cal is too simplistic. Ver. 2.5 is better,
though it still does not create true extended multi-channel profiles
and I'm still waiting on a password authorization to get it up and
running in my shop. If you want to know more, give me a shout. If I
can tell you more I will.
