Most of the time we only hear about what kind of a job we are doing when
we screw it up, or dont do it well. So, my point of this email is to
tell everyone who watches and contributes valuable information to this
list that you rock. There is so much information here, more than I need,
but i look thorugh anyway. I have read emails that dont seem to apply
to me, only to think "oohhh, thats what they were talking about" later
on. Many of the most knowledgable people here don't need to be here,
they already know so much, but they continue to help us all out when we
need it.
so.....just Thanks.

Stock photography in touch with reality since 1983.
I'll second that.
But let's be careful,
The first steps to true colorgeekhood begin when:
Everything is interesting.
Hardware and software have no material meaning other than to
reproduce reflective light particles.
You read about other people's problems wishing they were your own.
You help because you have to know the answer or you can't sleep at night.
Other people's situations can be interpreted in LAB, lux, XYZ and Tdensities.
Life's values are measured in deltaE.
All mistakes can be re-linearized.
Social faux pas are considered poor characterization. (see above)
When others make observations, criticisms, or call you names you
can't help but wonder if their comments are perceptual, relative, or
absolute.
The mating game begins with receptive, compatible media.
Payday is rich deep saturation, lush flowing midtones, and smooth
transitional quartertones from screen preview to output.
Too much information always seems to be too little.
You wonder who took the bite out of the first color Apple, where it
went, and wake up each morning thinking Colorsync will cough it up.
No matter what you get there is always an upgrade or a better program.
You're convinced Big Blue has only e cyan.
You have difficulty receiving compliments because your first response
is to map it to its nearest neighbor.
The list goes on...
and thanks to the Colorsync users who keep it going and going and going...
