That's absolutely correct -- except for Onyx PosterShop which was driving
me nuts a couple of weeks ago after installing an HP DesignJet 5000
(which is a wonderful device anyway).
In this case the printer driver fundamentally replaces some functions of
the printer's firmware (not necessarily to the benefit of the "average"
user...).
And as it has been said some weeks ago (at this place I want to say
thanks to Peter Henry of Gretag Imaging for his excellent explanations)
the PosterShop manual leads to more questions than it even answers.
