I'm working with 5000K, 1.8 gamma.
I have a LaCie electron19blue for home use and I recomend always calibrate
first before profiling. Once your happy with the Calibration then profile. You
can always ajust the guns independently through the curvs section after
calibration. I learned a long time ago that D65 was going to bring me a closer
neutral gray than what D5O was going to bring me. I personally scan AGFA
Scala, a Black and White transparency film, and a neutral gray is needed.
ProveIt! does a wonderful job in the verify section to see if you are neutral.
I do find that my 19blue will drift around every 6-7 days. I usually
recalibrate every three days. Try D65, I think you will like the consistent
gray.
