There are different opinions of the UV issue, but you may find that different
brands of software makes more difference than UV or nonUV filtered readings
in getting the results you want. The earlier Epson inkjets (up to the 1200)
profile quite well as soon as the ink is smudgeproof; the 1270 requires
drydown on glossy paper, as much as several hours in humid conditions, and
has significant whitener/whitepoint issues on the special glossy stock. The
2000p has a whole different set of issues based on the metamerism of the
encapsulated pigment inks. But since Epson is not supplying a glossy paper
for this printer, I'll assume its not the one you are referring to.
