Why would you advocate having both a Mac AND PC BestColor. I am lucky to
have both right now but most users will not have this luxury. Also, the
BestColor DE does not offer base linearization option like the PC. I don't
think the linearization files are cross platform but maybe you have tried
already?
I do my linearization with a profiling app so I can use a measurement
device instead of eyeballing it. The BestColor DE does not offer any support
for color measurement devices unlike BestColor v4.2 for PC.
