is an update for the Logo Profilemaker to Version 3.1.4
This update should fix whitepoint problems like Lab 100,0,0 to CMYK 2,2,1,0 or may be other seperation
problems with the actual Heidelberg CMM used in BESTColor 4.2 and may be in also such problems in
Photoshop 6
There is no detailed information, what problems this update fixes. It would be nice when somebody from
Logo (Mr. Fuchs ?) give us an clear explanation on the list.
The actual information from BEST about the whitepoint problem was, that Logo Profiles with older Versions
has not followed in some very special cases the ICC-Specifications.
As reported by BEST, the same problems with whitepoint-matching still exist with ColorBlind-profiles and
may be other vendors.
It would be also nice, if somebody from BEST (Mr. Grossmann ?) would explane us his point of view about
this problems.
Remember Lab 100,0,0 to CMYK 2,2,1,0 with perceptual or relCol is a bug and not a feature !!!
