The ColorTron SpotLight unit died of lack of demand as much as anything else,
but the accuracy was not really to current device standards. The SpectroCam
could do this if you had an appropriate source light for it. Currently the
DTP41T is probably the most affordable solution, but its pretty much limited
to strip reading, and is very awkward for single patch readings.
