The question is, if I buy the DTP41/T will it solve the problem?
I use a DTP-41T for all my printer profiles, and I am very satisfied
with it, but I am afraid the answer is no. Backlit media are the biggest
headache we have in printer profiles. Attempting to profile as if it
were a transparent media is a disaster. Our workaround is to select back
print media that will look as similar as possible with and without
backlight (when viewed from the front, of course), and profile this as
reflective material, with the printed side down. If necessary I
subsequently edit the profile to add saturation. This works well enough
on some media - for dye-based inks we currently use a German product,
MPA J61.

You can't always want what you get.
