Considering the investment of both time and money and
the impact in a production environment, none of these
choices seem particularly intelligent.
Considering the amount of time it would take for any individual or
organization to put together a market and performance review of all
the available products in a quickly evolving industry (and at who's
cost) the smart consumer, as always, must outline their own
requirements (workflow) and seek out the product(s) which suit.
We looked at several packages rich and poor, featurefull and
featureless, and ended up spending into an expensive package we
didn't really want, but we needed three key features it offered. I
couldn't rate it compared to others meant for other purposes.
In turn, it would be a project well suited for an academic institution.
