Hi all,
Finally, after 6 weeks our Agfa IT8 card arrived!
Now I'd like to mae a custom dataset for it, with our Digital Swatchbook
(hoping that those tiny patches aren't to small for the Swatchbook...).
I was worried that this would be too complicated since our old Kodak
target included the following data, with the last three being impossible
to figure out:
XYZ_X XYZ_Y XYZ_Z LAB_L LAB_A LAB_B STDEV_X STDEV_Y STDEV_Z
But now I found some Agfa datasets, which have:
XYZ_X XYZ_Y XYZ_Z LAB_L LAB_A LAB_B LAB_C LAB_H
That seems doable.
I plan to use Colorshop for the measurements, with three items checked in
the export prefs: CIE Lab, CIE XYX and Lab LCh; then run the exported
data through Excel, to put them in the right order and lose one of the
L's; and finally paste them into an existing datafile. Measurements would
be taken with D50, abs.
Finally the sets will be used to create a scanner profile in either
Scanopen or ICC Scan.
Does that sound okay, or am I about to create a mess?
Wim
