What's great about this list is the gamut of subscribers!
So to recap Andy's excellent post in a word + valuable user
experience....D65 (6500K). The gamma will probably look better at 2.2
compared to an output but so many things like calibration , age, ambient
lighting, phosphor or LCD type etc will influence how you see the gamma
(tonal graduation).

I probably can be the self acclaimed blunder collectioneer . A long time ago
I had the Epson RIP. It'll output your Postscript files quickly. For precise
color matching though you'll need to go up to BestColor Designer Edition the
1290 will be supported as of this summer.
