Glenn,
Try the new Nikon Coolscan 8000. At less than $3,000 US it seems the best
medium format scanner available. I can't wait to get one, but I think they
are on back order here in the States. It's sibling, the new CoolScan 4000
seems as good as a drum scanner in most respects and better in some. Several
of my clients are using it in preference to their aging drum beasts. I can
only presume that the 8000 will be as good. Nice UI and all the features you
want plus.
Get specs from Nikon's web site.
Your other alternatives would be the older Minolta Dimage Scan Multi II
(same price range but weaker specs) and the Microtek ArtixScan 4500T, which
goes up to 4 x 5 inches for about $8,000 US.
I hope one of these work out for you
Don
