DO WHAT??? As I understand things metamerism, it is the effect where the same
colored pigments or dyes will appear different under different light sources.
This makes sense, pigment and dyes absorb and reflect light. Now depending on the
make up of the light hitting the pigment or dye the color will be different. As I
also understand metamerism, it shouldn't make a difference if I have a 50 % tint
of a solid, the metameric response should be the same because metarmerism is a
physical response of light absorption and reflection of the pigment. Now tell me
again how dithering affect metamerism? Or is there something else going on? But,
then again sometimes things just happen and we don't need to understand them.
