I've tried it
with the Sequel it doesn't work. nor on the Cinema display in my
opinion. I tried it on an older powerbook too and although it's
in the list it does a terrible job.

just use the Prove it! visual method and get as close as you can.

I certainly got the Cinema 22 good with Prove it! visual, the Ti was
more difficult but is now better than base settings. Remember the
gamma of the Cinema is G2.2, perhaps the Ti is too. I'd not be
too concerned about altering the white point, just fix the
gray balance. Our yes are very good at compensating the white point if
you work on a gray background.
