Hello,
LaCie has just posted a newer version of the Blue Eye Software (version 3.3)
bringing improvements in the accuracy of the calibrator and allowing you to
setup the white luminance. It is available for free download
(

feedback.

If you have it, try it. I was not at all happy with the results with
this
combo until about two weeks ago when I got some new software and
found that
IF you place the cable where it needs to go (slot B), and the
software takes
advantage of the hardware, you can get really good results. Worth a
try. I
don't know if the success I had was due to the newer software or I
have a
good puck or what. But I'd certainly give the system a try before
you
abandon it.
