Wierd display colour cast

  • Subject: Wierd display colour cast

Hi all,
I am suffering a strange phenomena with my monitor (LaCie electron22blue)
displaying a very strong colour cast towards the green/yellow direction.
I have reset the colour back to default, then set the colour temp to 6500.
(to this point the monitor looks presentable, although uncalibrated)
Then I set the individual R,G, & B guns to neutral, after which I calibrate
and profile to D65 and G2.2.
After all this, the very strong cast is evident.
I have tried using two different monitor profiling packages and two pucks;
the Spyder and the SpectroCam. Neither being able to fix the problem.
The only thing that I can think might be wrong is that one of the phosphor
guns could be faulty.
Does anyone have any experience of anything like this?
I love my electron22blue and have never had it looking this bad, after
profiling, over the past 18 months of use.
TIA
Richard (read as 'signed desperate')
