Use setting 2 for a preset 6500k. Forget the rest unless you like resetting
after games or other dvd movies etc. After the preset 2 is chosen you can
further adjust the guns to 'tweak' the white point to a colorimeter or
spectro to linearize the monitor before profiling. The contrast and gamma
controls bring the gamma into line.

6500, forget the rest.
Most will tell you to get the ColorVision Spyder / Optical combo. It costs
so little for getting so much! If your serious about DTP images you will
have to get a hardware calibration system if you want to rely on the screen.
