For the Mac the SpectroCam is supported, the Wi(n)dows version
still needs some coupling software. Or has that changed already?
Otherwise a description how to use that version with the SpectroCam
will be nice.

Yes, support for the Spectrocam is available only for the Mac OS. ProveIt! Version 2.0 supports the Spectrocam. We are working on compatibility with Windows OS, 98, 98SE, and 2K at this time and will report a release on our website.
