Hi,

I have try to profile an Syctex Eversmart Pro with Profile Maker. For this I
have scanned an IT8 transparencies. I use RVB transparencies mode and
default settings and saved it in TIFF.
1- The scan file size is it an important factor?
2- I suppose ??? that the scanner send Lab information to the soft which
converting it in RVB. But what is the RVB space used ?
3- The profile generate some aberrations: In a high light (little yellow
area) I have apparition of green. The low density have less modulation than
the same scan without profile.
4- Why somebody told me that is more difficult to profile an input device
than a screen or an output device ?
5- In general, do you advise to retouch the ICC Profile ?
6- If I use profile when I scan transparencies do you advise to set black
and white point ?

Thanks for your answers.
