Subject: Monitor Calibration
I'm looking for information regarding monitor calibration.
As the information I'm looking for does not relate directly
to ColorSync, I'm looking for an alternative source of
information directly.
W NT 4.0
Lacie Electron Blue II
X-Rite DPT 92
ATI Rage 128 Pro 4x
Can it work!!
(other hardware, and software combinations?)
Apologies to all for my inappropriate post. I have no where else
to turn!

hey 'peg,
Not all topics relate directly to Colorsync (aka ICM a la pc). It is
merely a unifying force in the spectral universe.
NT? DTP92?
We use the Monitor Spyder/OptiCal from Colorvision (www.colorcal.com)
on the MAC
and Heidelberg ViewOpen LE on the PC. The Spyder/Op package kicks
(though I'm also a fan of ColorBlind's (www.color.com) ProveIt.
Colorvision supports Windows98/2000/ME and requires the Spyder or mc7
colorimeters.
ColorBlind: Macintosh System 7.1 or later, Win95, Win98 or NT5. The
MAC ver.1.05 supports the DTP92 so I assume the NT version does too.
ProveIt also has one of the best visual non-meter calibration setups
I've used.
good luck
