How the CIEBasedDEFG CSA is applied is defined by the RIP programmer using
what in PostScript is called color rendering procedures.

Meaning that Distiller seems to apply a color rendering procedure which overrides the specific and correct settings chosen by the user.

Sort of like having a gearshift which goes into reverse when you put it in drive. Speaking of which : When the baby Mercedes was first demoed to the press, the chassis / wheel positioning were off, so the car failed to take a turn and rolled over like a turtle with all four wheels sprawled in the air -:).
