Hey Joe,
you are wrong if you think that DELTA List, Scitex CT/LW and Tiff/IT are
screend Dataformates. All this Dataformates are Inputformates without
Screening and all will supported with BESTColor for PC. At this moment no
Proofsolution with Inkjets can offer you the screening from an Imagesetter;
all solutions use first a descreening and then they will do a new screening.

"ColorProof" has been mentioned quite often lately on the list. I assume
this is
another PS RIP/Colorsync server. Where can I find out more about it? How
does it
compare to BestColor DE? I was just getting ready to buy it? The ability to
process a Delta, Scitex CT/LW or TIFF-IT is a huge advantage when trying to
simulate press output as one can take this rastered image (from the
imagesetter's
RIP) and sent it through the profiled PS RIP/ink jet and get a very close
simulation as it is taking the Delta, Scitex CT/LW or TIFF-IT rasterazation
into
acount.
