There will be a ColorSync Users Group meeting on Thursday, March 22nd from
6:30 to 10pm at the Apple Campus in Cupertino, CA. Here's the lowdown:
John Zimmerer, ColorSync Product Manager, will demo Apple's new Mac OS X -
what's new and how ColorSync is integrated better than ever in the OS.
Mac OS X is a very exciting new product and this is a great opportunity to
get acquainted.
Guest speaker Steve Upton of CHROMiX will demo his product ColorThink whose
new version works with OS X. ColorThink is a profile inspector and repair
tool that gives you a clean, clear picture of your profiles.
The theme of the evening is Proofing Devices: What to expect, how they
behave, whether they can be profiled, what they cost and what their
consumables cost. Steve Upton and Son Do will tell you the war stories
from the trenches of color management. And, if you're curious, we'll
have some insight on these printers' RIPs. If you're in the market for a
printer, don't miss this event!
If you're able to attend, please go to
http://seminars.apple.com to
register. When you get there, choose "Events by Location" and choose United
