All:
First, I'd like to thank those that responded to my questions regarding
access to the Cupertino ColorSync Users Group meetings. There were many
emails, and every response was read and tabulated.
Here are the results:
1) Most responded that they were in the US.
2) Almost no one needed to participate in the event.
3) Almost everyone responded that they prefer a QuickTime movie, or movies,
that they could download from the ColorSync site. There were quite a few
interested in a transcript, though.
Given the response to these first two questions, it looks like we will not
broadcast the event in any way, for the time being. I'll look into having
the meetings recorded and made into QuickTime segments that can be
downloaded, as well as putting something like a transcript on the ColorSync
site. That might just be minutes from the meeting or copies of the
presentations, we'll have to experiment a little.
If you're planning to attend, please remember to register through
http://seminars.apple.com or to call 800-895-4853 and ask to register for
event # EV010486.
Also, there is a meeting scheduled for May. The agenda hasn't been set yet
(there's some placeholder info in the description for now). If you're able
to attend the May meeting, please sign up now. I'll be sure to send out a
note to the list as to the topics and speakers.
Thanks again for your responses. I hope to see many of you at the meeting.
