Vendors tend to be timorous. They don't subset the post they are
replying to for fear of misrepresenting the content. So they copy the
whole post lock stock and barrel, add their three line reply and
finish off with their five line mail signature.
Guys, please pitch in, please be concise - and please don't copy in
miles of stuff already posted -:).
