ICM comparisons with Kodak PhotoCD RGB

What comparisons can be made between common Photoshop working spaces
(e.g., AdobeRGB, wide gamut, etc) and the color space defined by Kodak
PhotoCD? For example, can comparisons be reduced to RGB primaries,
gamma and whitepoint?

Which wide gamut working spaces are viable? ... i.e., does it make
sense to convert a PCD image to a wide gamut working space?? Does it
make sense to convert back to a 3-D device space which acquired the
image originally???

The reason I ask is that I have highbit images, untagged, but are
supposedly essentially in the device space, but PCD space has been
used as an internal/intermediate space for going from "raw" RGB data
to any number of working color spaces. Rather than leave these as is,
I'd like to assign/embed a 3-D LUT-type device space before archiving.
