I can not speak for the method used to image slides with these
recorders, however I have had some success profiling them. Limited of
course to the stability of the e6 line involved. Colorblind ships with a
target to image on a film recorder, and a utility to read the output
using a profiled scanner. It ain't perfect, but it does make a fair
amount of difference.
