I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Epson printers (5,7, or
9000) using the Imation RIP. Also, I wonder if anyone has successfully
profiled a screen 1030 scanner. I am using an extremely old version of
colorblind (vs 2.something) to create profiles only, but can't get anything
acceptable. The monitor profiles seem to be ok (match our film proofs) but
the results from the scanner are garbage. I don't know if its me or the
colorblind software. I'm using the profiles (monitor and scanner) with
colorsync 3.03 and Photoshop 6. I have a feeling I need to get some up to
date color management software so any advice on that would also be
appreciated. I would need to profile the drum scanner, a couple different
pro level digital cameras, multiple monitors, agfa and scitex image setters,
a minolta copier with a fiery rip and maybe an epson with the imation rip.
Thanks
