I'm having outrageous success profiling the ACD with Profile City's new ICC
Display and both the SpectroCam and SpectroLino. I haven't tried the Eye-One
yet but I presume it will work well too.

No other software comes close to ICC Display and no other monitor makes such
a great soft proof as the ACD. Even at $2900 it's worth every penny to
serious retouchers. Another essential requirement for a critical proofing
experience is the new SOFV-1e from GTI.

If you want the best possible soft proofing setup (sparing no expense) get
the ACD, SOFV-1e, ICC Display and either the SpectroCam or SpectroLino or
Eye-One. I have several very high-end separators and publishers using this
combination and they love it.

I seldom make such strong product recommendations but when I see something
that really works in color management I'll happily give it all the free
promotion it deserves.

To see how I recommend setting up the system, download my article
