There may be other, patent related, reasons for the ColorTron no longer being
sold, but yes; fewer and fewer applications are supporting it for either
monitor calibration or patch reading. The ColorTron's slowness is factor,
but the suspicions that developers have regarding it's accuracy is the most
often noted reason.
