I purchased OptiCal and calibrated 3 different monitors. I then checked the white point, gray background and black point with a Minolta CA-100 CRT analyzer and the results are very consistent.
I'm using a Blue & White G3 with OS 8.6, ColorSync 2.6.1 and PhotoShop 5.5.
ColorSync system profile is set to the profile OptiCal created as is the RGB. The CMYK is set to our press profile. CMM is Heidelberg.
In the monitor control panel ColorSync is set to the profile OptiCal created.
PhotoShop RGB set up is: Gamma 1.8, White Point 5500, Primaries Trinitron, Monitor loads the OptiCal profile automatically.
PhotoShop CMYK is set to use our press profile, Perceptual, and Heidelberg CMM.
Have I set these up correctly?
I'm missing a step?
