3 sections to store profiles; RGB Source profile, CMYK
Simulation profile, Output CMYK profile. And they works
as their names. V 1.4 is way better than v 1.3 which doesn't
allow user to upload custom 'output' profile to it.
Now I think I can say that the Fiery is now ICC compatible.
Though I still want it to be a true CMYK RIP which I can
control black channel throughly, also the total ink limit.
But this setback is more because of Epson's policy not
the EFI.

In order for it to be ICC compatible, we need to be able to load a
custom input profile--not just output. Is this possible now? And the
remaining foggy area--is it possible to disable both input and output
profiles?
Next question: if someone has a Fiery RIP before version 1.4, what is
the procedure to upgrade?
Does anyone have a decent Epson 5000 profile w/fiery RIP I can take a
look at? I'd like to compare it to some other profiles to see what
the feasibility is for using a 5000 profile as a working space. I'd
prefer a custom profile and not a canned one from Epson.
