problem number one: Modern Postcard (ugh, again, I know, but it's not

I can't say that Modern Postcard is giving you idiotic advice, because Modern Postcard has no way of knowing that this advice is idiotic.

What I will say is that Apple should document what the Generic CMYK Profile is for, as I have asked and pleaded and petitioned for through all of three years, and specifically advise users that it is NOT an exemplary profile, a profile to be actually applied in workflows, whereas the Generic LAB Profile is indeed a profile to be actually applied.

I have to admit this slipped my mind in the ICC user feedback wish list, but let's say it's now added -:).

help?

Elyse, there's nothing whatsoever the matter with your understanding or your competence, and you don't need help from any of us.

But we all need Apple to help make it plain to the Modern Postcards of this world what the unity profiles are meant to do, which of them are meant to be used, and what they are meant to be used for.

So, John ... -:).
