If he is not trying to emulate a press, then life is simple, and if his
hardware calibrated monitor does not look like his custom profiled prints,
then he needs to view and print a standard test image, and see which is
incorrect to tell which profile is in error. If he is using his RGB printer
to emulate a press, and gets great matches between the inkjet prints and the
press, but his hardware calibrated monitor does not look like the output,
then he needs to edit the return (proofing) tables in his inkjet proofer
profile.
