Epson 1270/1280 printers & 3rd party inks

Has anybody out there used 3rd party inks in the Epson 1270 or 1280
printers?

I would specifically like to hear about:

Rhinotek cartridges (so far, they seem better than Epson with much better
shadow detail at 2/3 the lowest Epson price I could find)

LumiFlow fluid ink delivery system (I have not tried yet)
