First Question: 242x362 what? Centimeters, milimeters, pixels, inches, etc.?
I'm going to assume you are thinking milimeters for the sake of discussion.
How do you plan on outputting the files?
If you are thinking milimeters, don't mess with the file size. Work with it
as it comes out of your camera. You won't believe the quality without doing
anything else to it. To change the size in Photoshop, go to Image/Image Size
(or Option I, I), uncheck Resample Image at the bottom of the dialogue box
and put in the dimensions you want for the image. Make certain that the
Resolution of the image has remained above about 160ppi for most output.
I am outputting 20x30" prints from a Canon D30 that are amazingly beautiful.
Check with me offlist if you wish more details.
