Use Internet Explorer, and check Use ColorSync in the Preferences.
The image will then be correctly translated to your monitor.

Yup, Microsoft Internet Explorer looks up the ICC monitor profile.

Apple QuickTime 5 does not look up the ICC monitor profile.

How about some real quick exploring to get this adroitly addressed ?
