I am hoping someone may help , with what is probably very basic info.

I am wanting to prepare files for printing out through a Lightjet 5000.

I will be scanning on the Nikon 8000 , bring into photoshop for prep and saving out as a
rgb tif.

1. What space would be ideal to do the retouching ? Can I presume that I would want to
do this in wide gamut - especially as I am going to a rgb printer ?

2. The printing house have been taking my files , applying a coloysuch profile and ripping
to postscript. The results are good , but should I not be able to just supply them a file to
merely print ?

3. Is the process I would use for the Lightjet be the same for outputting to film/trannie [ LVT ] ?

Any suggestions would be welcolme.
