Sorry to bother the list with this, but we bought the Corel library
with hundreds of CDs with pcd files some years ago. The pictures..
well.. whatever.. but some ICC profile for getting the colorspace
pretty.. well.. better..(?!) would be appreciated. Anyone out
there ever messed with those Corel files?
My personal opinion is that a miracle might be called for in order
to get those pix to look.. (well.. sigh..) more like they probably
were intended to look like..
It is pretty tough to say what space these were supposed to be in.
If you are opening them in Photoshop (can you open them in
Photoshop?) then I would try assigning them different profiles to see
how they look.
I would try:
sRGB
AppleRGB
ColorMatchRGB
one of these should look OK. Otherwise try any of the other std
Photoshop spaces and see what you think..
