Non-ColorSync using scanner

  • Subject: Non-ColorSync using scanner

I have a client that is interested in a scanner that can support legal size
input and _DOES NOT USE_ Colorsync.

Will the Umax 4000u support this?

Does VistaScan require the use of ColorSync?

Is there a better solution for under $300 USD retail?

Their goal: to input sketches and recreate them on the Mac.

They have evaluated the Microtek X12usl and it didn't meet the goal since it
required ColroSync.

Thanks in advance for your input.
