Dave
thanks for the offer. I've looked around their web site but didn't see any
files to download other than software updates. Please e-mail the file.
I've tried (still trying) to use the 'dark restriction' file for setting up
a new material following the 0%,100%,0% start point. So far I've always left
it at 100% and put the lc,lm at 90%. I've done a canvas that bleeds alittle
but really absorbs the ink. What is your experience on using the ink
doubling value? The manual never really mentions how it's used.
Then onto lin and inklimit prints. What I'm looking for is a more
qualitative measurement, IOW, hitting an ink density with a densitometer and
saying that's the block to use as the ink limit number. Not trying to judge
visually if the blocks are saturated enough.
BTW, the Arizona printer has a built in dryer, so rarely does the print feel
sticky from too much ink and a tiny amount of over spray seems normal.
From a lot of previous posts, Postershop could help some people with ink
limit problems and CMYKlclm rip problems.
Thanks for your help
