Nothing like a Colortron tied around one's neck with Colorfactory AeS
profiling kit and or dead end products of this nature to sink you when your
trying to learn to swim. Integration with the line of software and hardware
make the i1 very attractive as a one time step into serious color
management. It's not about marketing but sound practical advice for someone
trying to profile 2 desktop printers. Whether the Spectrocam will be around
tomorrow and it's support can overshadow the validity of the UV issues so
often discussed here. If it is important then Gretag should listen to this
and offer the i1 in UV, as the Spectrolino, and 41UV do. Certainly the
current and future applications for the i1, give a well connected
opportunity
