Indeed. And all EyeOne users who don't have ProfileMaker will want to hold
onto those files. ProfileMaker 4.0 has a new gamut option that dramatically
increases the saturation of output profiles (if so picked). I expect that at
some time in the future, we will see an update to EyeOne Match that uses
this new algorithm. I routinely use EyeOne Match to measure and build the
actual profile in PM 4.0 using the new option. I will also point out that
EyeOne Match users can download the PM Pro Measure tool for free and in demo
mode, there are some useful options still available such as the Compare
feature where one can examine two measurement files and compare differences
in deltaE. A great tool for process control! For devices like Lightjets and
Lambda's, I find it keeps labs real honest when you show them how their
devices can shift from day to day using the Compare feature.
