Fact of life with the 5500. I've resorted to having "standard" profile edits
that I make for 5000K, incandescent and office fluorescent lighting. And put
a big old warning on the proof stating that it must be viewed under the
lighting conditions the profile was designed for.
If it's prepress proofing, this should be acceptable since proofs are
designed to be viewed under 5000K light anyway. If it's for photographic
print purposes, then you will need to know up front under what lighting
conditions the print will be viewed under. If it's any consolation, an
"out-of-the-box" profile seems to work well for incandescent lighting but
needs to be edited for 5000K viewing.
