I totally agree. It is reasonable that anyone who purchased a
Linocolor scanner can put aside the ScanOpen package and use one of
their choosing instead. This is a Linocolor function and should be
documented as such. Of course if we started discussing all the
short-comings of software and documentation when it comes to ICC work
we would be here forever.
So, with the exception of 6.0.4 as Neil pointed out, is there
anything else that has to be done with Linocolor to get an
uncalibrated scan? I have always used the uncalibrated scan setting
and had good results but I guess I have not come across 6.0.4
yet..... I don't think....
